Hello, my name is Arseleena Ali and I although currently, I am an undecided major, I am trying my best to pursue the field of civil engineering. I graduated from Urban Assembly School for Criminal Justice and at my high school exposed myself to a lot of liberal arts by joining a lot of clubs. In addition to that, I was also a part of many volunteer and fundraising activities. By joining clubs like the newspaper club and other similar clubs to that, I was able to better my writing, discussing, and presenting skills. For example, in the newspaper club, I was an advice column writer. For this, I had to interview my peers and formulate a column which was concise and smooth to read for the audience. Additionally, joining clubs like the good will club, I was able to not only better my school community by raising money, but I was also able to gain communication skills as I spoke to a wide variety of people in this exchange of items. To switch it up a bit, in my previous math classes, I obtained excellent grades and because I did I was chosen by the teacher to help tutor my fellow peers. Currently, I work at an adult day care, where I am able to use my technological and communication skills. I excel in the use of Microsoft and Google applications in addition to all types of drives. I am very good at operating both windows and mac and can easily navigate my way through emails.
